Can any locksmith make a key for my car door?

When i bought my used car, it only had one key. The key only works for the ignition. I have a 89 nissan sentra. Also could anyone estimate the cost? thanks!

yea, just take in the lock and they will do it for you. Mine was about $8. at a professional lock smith. May very with the type of lock and cylinder. I think they can change your cylinder to make the ignition key work with your current door lock, you would have to ask them first tho.
I have a 1996 Nissan Sentra and bought mine used and the only key i have works for the ign. Took my car to a lock smith and he said i would have to changes all the locks on my doors and trunk.That was 300.00

any lock smith can do the key cost like 25. o less .
about 5 bucks with tax, dowsbud, your got jacked, you should have gone to a dealer. We could have just cut a brand new key with the key code, price about five bucks unless you have a chip key
