Can someone give me an idea on how I can retreive my car keys from my car?

Do you know anyone with CAA…they can send someone out to help you if you or someone you know is a member.

HI there – can you get some tough plastic packing strap from somewhere like a newsagent. You can fold it over and slide it down through the bottom of the window to open the lock or door. Try that.

depending what kind of car…if one of your windows is slightly down….(a crack) use a coat hanger…to lift the lock up…I did it once on my nissan…I got in!

call the police station using. Dont call 911 look up the regular phone numbers and call around. Some police depts will still get your keys outta your car for free. Make an extra copy of your key and put it in one of those magnetic things and put that under your car. Keep a spare set on you from now on.

coatanger and pop the lock ,call a cop to bring a slim jim,or find a big rock and bust the window

Do you have a credit card? Tow truck guys will take credit cards, just call and ask them. Should cost about $40-$50. Other than that, unless you can find someone with a slimjim to jimmy the door (in some places, cops still carry them, but I don’t know where).
Don’t try to pop the window or anything, as the cost of repair will severely outweigh the service call.

if you can,unscrew the antennae and bend it to go in the window or door frame you may have to pull on the door frame to get an access point then hit the unlock button or as i have done roll down the window with it if you have manual windows shape antennae into a loop

i just learned it today…
if you have someone like that has an extra set of keys to your car, call them and tell them to put the keys up to their phone and put your phone no less than a foot away from your car then they should press the unlock button and it should work.
i tried it multiple times and the other person can be as far away as whatever.

Take a steel scale or a thin steel strip and insert it through the outer side of the window glass of the drivers side after lifting the window glass wiper beeding ,the scale should be inserted about 2 inches from the central piller and by giving a push U will be able to unlock the lock. Hope it works.

either jimmy the lock, or bust the smallest window, but be able to unlock a door.

Well, if you’re at the library, you probably don’t have a wire hanger or a slim jim. The way I see it you have two options: You can ask some of the people in the library if they have a slim jim, or wire hanger, or you can break the window with a hammer and replace it later. It’s not that expensive to replace the window, depending on what type car you drive.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
