check your insurance policies both home and car and see what the cost would be to get the whole lot changed and new keys if you are covered eityher way.
alternatively try a scrap dealer for replacements with keys
Try getting a complete set of locks and keys from a reputable breakers. From a total write off for example.
If it’s keys, sounds like complete new locks I’m afraid.
If it’s keyfobs, I bought a Vauxhall van and only one fob (part of the key) worked. A mechanic came out with a hand held unit and it plugged into the van via a com port fitting. He had to program the van’s computer with the code of the fob.
Find the dog that ate the keys, and give it a laxative. You should have your keys in a few hours.
Need to know what car it is to be of any help.
I am an ex forces mechanic and the vehicles we used were no different from any other so saying it’s down to being ex ministry is crap!
