How can I open a locked metal file cabinet for which I don’t have a key?
There’s a small, three drawer file metal file cabinet here at work and we don’t have the key for it. Somehow, the bottom drawer opens, but the top two drawers are locked. It’s a new office and we never got the key for this particular cabinet. we’re assuming it’s long gone at this point. We’ve been trying to pick the lock open with a paperclip but it hasn’t worked. Is there any other way, besides calling a locksmith, to get the file cabinet unlocked so we can use it? Thanks for your time!

If you want to use it and not lock it i would drill the lock out. at least you would have storage without buying a new one
