How can obtain my house keys and car keys from a boyfriend that's in jail for abusing me and he won't tell

I know for a fact that he know's where they are but he won't tell me out of spite. I went to the police station several times where he's being held and they told me we can't make him tell us where he put your keys, I haven't been able to get my daughter to school back & forth she's missing days and I can't get into my apartment to get any belongings. Is there anything or anyway I can get my keys? I don't have money for a locksmith. And right now neither him or the police are helping what can I do who can I talk to or call?

What are the police supposed to do? They can't force him to tell. You are going to have to come up with the money to get new locks and pick better boyfriends.

Get a lock smith to open them, change the locks, and get new keys. That's all you can do.
If you live in an apartment, the manager should have a master key.
If you can get a ride to the Police Station, then surely you can get your daughter a ride to school.
You can borrow money from a friend or relative to get your keys replaced.
Then you can add an additional charge of malicious mischief to the abuse charges.
And I agree with the poster above, if you have access to a computer, then you can get access to other resources as well.
Get over the victim mentality and take charge of your life.
Legally the police can't make him tell you anything. They also can't make him release the keys to you. As far as getting your stuff, that's a civil matter. Contact an attorney or try contacting the building manager and see if he will let you in to get your stuff.
