a locksmith
ummmmm, dealer
The dealer should be able to cut one from the serial #.
Maybe have them make a couple.
A MOBILE LOCK SMITH
a dealer can make it from the vin from the dash. you will most likely have to show proof of ownership, registration, ect
Either will do … Call the locksmith for faster service, but a dealer can get you one also.
Either can cut you a new key from the VIN # on the dash. You will need to prove that it is your vehicle.
call the dealer, they can get you another one using the vin#.
Try the hardware store
You can call the dealer or a locksmith. If you have a new car that uses microchip technology make sure the locksmith is capable of making your keys before he comes out.
You should call around to find the best deal. Good Luck, it happened to me a couple of months ago…it cost me about 60 bucks…mine has a microchip

what i did after my sister lost the key to my car (only had it for two days), I called a local locksmith and had him make another key. Dealership would work too if your car was new enough. Mine wasn’t. Locksmith in my area was $85 for a new key, but he came to my house and tried a bunch of dummy keys in my doors and ignition until two worked the he cut them right there in my back yard.

Do you have another one to copy? Then places like Home Depot, Ace Hardware, or anywhere they make keys…Otherwise, call the dealership…Somewhere in your documents should be the schematic for your key numbers…And the old stand-by, the locksmith…Expect to pay a bundle for them, though…
Call the dealership, can make from the VIN number on the car
if it’s a newer car or truck you will have to take the vin muber to the dealer and they will make u a new key the Vin Number should be on the dash bord driver side top and if it’s a older car or truck you will have to call a locksmith
good luck
it’s not cheap!!
i would call the dealer because if you have a newer car they will have to program the key to make it work with their codes
You have to go to the dealer. They can make one based off your VIN. I’ll warn you, it’s gonna cost.
you can call a dealer or if you only lost the ignition key you can buy another ignition at your local parts store
If it’s a new car, go to a dealer. The key has a transponder in it that works with the anti theft system. The correct blank must be used, and it must then be programmed to your car. If you have an older car, then yup, a locksmith or any store that cuts keys will do.
Depends on how old/what brand your car is. Usually a locksmith can make one, but like my Oldsmobile, you have to order a key from the dealer because it has a chip in it. They can be pretty pricey…mine would be $60.
In the future, here’s a hint…have one extra key made (or two if it has separate ignition/door keys). Put the extra set behind your license plate on the screw that holds it on.
That way, if you ever lock your keys in the car, or if you lose them, you’ll have an extra set wherever your car is.
you can call a lock smith,,they can make a key for it,it will be cheaper than going back to the dealer,,but if its a coded key you will have to go back to the dealer for one,,god luck,,i hope you get one for it.
There are a number of factors that have to be looked at before a new key can be made for your car.
1. Does the car use a transponder key? If it does call the dealer and get the key number. Give this to the locksmith and you have saved a lot of work on his part all he has to do is cut the key and use a programmer to open up the cars computer and program the new key into the same.
If the car is an older model pre 96-97 is does not a transponder unit, then the locksmith can make a key for the existing lock and your done. cost for transponder about 125.00 to 150.00 unless newer Toyota and few other models 1200.00 to 1400.00 for the first key.
Older model cars 75.00 to 125.00
Call the dealer and give them the VIN # off the dash near the windshield or the label inside the driver door and have 3 made… I did the same thing!
Good Luck!
go to the car dealer give them your car vin# which is located in front of the wheel you can see threw the wind shield it from out side of the car once you give them that number they will make you another key that it’s gonna cost you not a lot butt 30 dollars or maybe more depend on the year because some keys are lazier cut those are more likely expensive about 100 dollars good luck
just break the lock cylinder with a screwdirver…heck, u’ll just lose the new key too…so save urself some money, git ur hair did instead
