I locked my keys in my car.can I unlock it another way?

Use a wire hanger to make a hook and slide it down inside the bottom of the window to the hook inside the door that controls the lock. Or slide it at the top of the window and unlock the actual lock. Good luck!

go back home and take your another spare key

Get a wire coat hanger and put one end into a u! Then stick it in the side where the lock is in the window crack! And just feel around! Once it gets stuck on something pull it up real quick and that will unlock the car!

If u have anything long and flat like a scale (longer than a 12 inch scale) Put it the rubber lining at the bottom of the window pane. When u here something like a click your car will be unlocked (the scale should be of steel)

if you have a remote entry system and someone else has the other key, you can try calling them on a cell phone. put the cell phone up to the door and have them push the button. this will occasionally be enough to unlock the doors.

Ummmm……… you can either call onstar if you have it. Jimmy the lock. Break into the car anyway you are willing to. Or just call the locksmith. I recommend though you have an extra made.

if you can get a ride home and a ride back to your car you could just go get a spare set of keys.

sometimes you can jam a wire through between the rubber weather stripping and the edge of the window, if you have electronic locks you could try to do this then push the unlock button with the wire hanger.

Actually, call the police (on the nonemergency line) and ask if there is a cop in your area. If so, ask if he can swing by and unlock your door. This will save you some money.

Buy a “slim jim” at an auto parts store. Little bit of practice, you’ll have it open in no time.

I have tried this on a Santro and it worked.

Open the rubber lining near the window. It shud come off without too much trouble and can be fixed back.

Now take a scale and press in on a knob like structure close to the lock area.

Try it at different angles but ensure that you dont press too hard

It will open up.

Yes, but every other way involves breaking something, which will cost more than a locksmith.
For example:
1. Smash a window
2. Pop the trunk and crawl in through the back seat
3. (well, THIS doesn’t involve breaking something) PRactice your psychic powers until you develop psycho-kinesis – the power to move objects at a distance. Then, use your psychic powers to unlock the door.
4. You could use a door jimmy or a hanger – which is what the police or the locksmith would use – BUT if you do it wring (highlyh likely) you could cause damage.

If you don’t have a road service provider you can call, just call the nearest towing service and tell them you need lockout service. We unlock cars all day long, and we are a lot cheaper than the lock smith.

And unless you are driving something older than a 1980 model, don’t let anyone with a slim Jim anywhere near your vehicle. That includes security guards, well meaning friends, and police officers.

Do you have an extra set of keys at home or with someone else? Try calling that person on your cell phone and have them push the unlock button through their cell phone while you have your cell phone up to your car. I read in a newspaper that it works.

depends on the car door, but slightly pull the top of the door back slide a hanger or something slim and long in and press the unlock button or if the car is running the press widow button.

use a coat hanger stick it through the top off the window and use the curved tip to pull the lock up and unlock the car ive done it before

hard question to answer because your not giving the particulars…but if you bought your car recently from a local dealer…they may still have the key codes for your car in your sales/service folder…they could make you another key with these codes….if not…try calling around to a few tow truck companies…they usually have a set of tools that will allow them to gain access to a locked vehicle…the police used to have them too…but it all depends on where you are…a small town local police officer might help you…but it’s highly doubtful a big city officer will…they just don’t have the time….if you have AAA or any other motor car service company…call them…..hope this info helps…..good luck.

YEAR MAKE and MODEL? I could do it, I don’t know about you. Call the cops they may do it for you. A coat hanger works for me on 95% of cars, even the new ones that people say it won’t work on. Experience vs. knowledge I guess

Most road side assist companies have lockout kits to get you into the vehicle. You will have to have proof of ownership though.

Police will not do it as it is a liability.

its easy. just break one of the windows and get ur keys. Then all what you need to do is to fix that broken windoes!

Use the extra key in the magnetic box Dad told you to put in the secret spot under the fender.
