Do you have road side assistance? They will even come to your home for a lock out. Without proper tools you may do damage that will cost more than a tow service that does lock outs.
Getting the door open
STEP 1 throw a rock into the window,
STEP 2 then reach in and open the door
Getting the keys from trunk
STEP 1 Big Axe
How to not let this happen again?
STEP 1 Get a locksmith for a boyfriend, for the next time hubby is out of town…
call the dealership where you bought the car and get a key made? with the ID
The best solution is calling a locksmith.
It is unlikely that someone will give you specific details in an open forum on how to break into a car- aside from the old brick through a window trick.
During normal working hours, you shouldn’t have to pay more than 40-70 dollars for a lockout.
You might want to invest in a spare key or five as well.
And for those who do use non destructive methods of opening- usually they are unwilling to let on their methods in specifics. Not only is there an interest in keeping trade information internal (which is common in the locksmithing field), but there are two other considerations. One is that with many methods, there is a good possibility that you could cause damage. Using a coathanger may work to open your vehicle- but you could very well disengage a linkage, and have no chance of getting the door open without breakign something.
The other side of it is that many people who have the information might not think that you are trying to break into a car that does not belong to you- but you never know about others who might come across the information.
good luck!
Depending on the year model, You can carry your vin number and id to a ford dealer and have a key made for about 3 bucks that will open the door. Call ahead first to make sure your dealer can do it. The vin, or vehicle identification number, is located on the dash, driver side. You can see it thru the windsheild. Of course this is only one cheap, easy way to do it. hope it works for you…
