Don’t sell the crook lock with it.

In order to get another set of keys made at a dealership, you will have to prove you are the owner of the car. Otherwise, any crook could write down the VIN and have a set of keys made and drive off in your stolen car. I assume you are talking about the Valet Key when you say crook lock key.

unscrew the gear stick from the gearbox you can prob do this fron inside the car then detach it from the knob, screw back the gearstick and put a new knob on it, failing that just smash the the lock with a hammer and small chisel till it gives in……

You could also if a stright key and not a star key, place a thin leaver in the lock and keep pressure on it then using a small pick like a hair clip or something similar rake the pins inside untill the lock turns.

Drill it out?

Dont do anything just tell the buyer to take it as it is and hope he dont want a test drive….

you can go to the dealer and i think they should be able to figure it out by some codes like the vin

Give it a go in the machines that ye find in the bogs!! Ye could get many flavoured condoms or even a wee travelling toothbrush!!!!

Thieves depending on what type ,can simply kick them off without serious damage. You have the time to remove yourself, hacksaw etc and you won’t be bashed by the owner! It will take time but persevere and you’ll manage.

Get one of the kids on the block to remove it for you, a lad that,s tagged preferably, crooklocks are famous for detering no one looking to steal a car, they only protect cars that are,nt worth knocking off.
