everyone is rite the lock smith would have been cheaper.good luck in finding one from a junk yard and a glass shop will be on the pricey side because they are very diffulcult windows to install i would not try to install it urself take me on my word i’m a 17 year certified NGA master auto glass tech/mgr/trainer

you may be able to find one at a salvage yard, but honestly, most of those cars have been crushed due to a lack of demand for thier parts. even if you find one they’re not to easy to install. you’ll probably have to go to a glass shop, and i know you don’t want to hear it, but it’s gonna cost a lot more than $75. i’m sorry. good luck.

It would have been cheaper in the long run to call the locksmith. Even at the junkyard that glass is going to be pricey.

Just spent a few bucks to duplicate one spare key and keep it in your hand bag.breaking the glass is surely costlier .just wait for passerby to help the next times.free and easy.

junkyard, i’m sure there are plenty of 86 continentals in junkyards…

as for the directions/how to, get a service manual for it, they will walk you through step by step
