Yes, but for your reassurance of safety, many manufacturers of locksmith tools require locksmith licenses. You cannot just say you are a locksmith to get some lock-pick kits, etc.
Yep. And the robber can do it faster than the locksmith.
Probably. While locksmiths have their professions regular tools, robbers can simply rob the locksmith, or worse, break down your door or steal your keys. The possibilities are endles….

The fact is, no matter how many locks, security systems, etc. you have, if someone really wants in, they will get in.
