time to use the AXE
well all i can tell you iz that if you have a srew driver
just kick it in. you shouldn’t have that hard a time the way you describe the messed up door. stand facing the door and in a big quick motion, raise your right up high and fast then lean forward as you thrust your heel just above the knob. if you are nimble enough do it with a running start. if you cannot kick it in, get somebody bigger to do it. a big strong man could do that in a second and be gone.that way you don’t tear down the whole damn door like the cops do.
Are the hinges accessible? If the knob is broken anyways, try whacking it off with a hammer… lol
If you dont have a drill, borrow one. Use a 3/8″ or 1/2″drill bit and drill straight into the key hole. The lock cylinder on most household locks is about 1 1/2″ deep. The drill will try to get jerky as it cuts in, this is just the pins being cut out. When you feel the drill is no longer cutting the pins then you force a screwdriver into the hole and rotate the cylinder and unlock the door. It is not near as complicated as it sounds and 100% of the time the lock will surrender.
Depending on how sturdy the door is. If it is sturdy then get a piece of wood and a hammer, lay the wood over the knob and hit the crap out of it. If it is cheap then drill the knob out.
Most interior locking doors have a hole in the center of the doorknob just for this purpose…find the hole, if it’s there..straighten out a wire clothes hanger..simply push it straight into the hole and it will unlock it..this may not be your type of door, but now days they put this type of doors on in case a toddler locks him/her self in and you can get to them….hopefully this is the type of door you have
