is there a locksmith out there?

Question by lotyr16:

i have always had a craving to learn the art of locksmithing. there is not much that i can say to make someone believe that i dont have criminal intent, all i can say is that i have an honest and innocent curiosity about locksmithing. so if there is any locksmith out there willing to guide me through the ways of locksmithing i would really appreciate it.

More questions & answers:

  1. what is the best way to become a locksmith? MLA course and 1 year with a locksmith or other intensive course?
  2. Is there a website or other resource which has the laws for every state?

call a locksmith or so you won’t sound creepy, call pop a lock and just ask how did you study for this job where did you go to school or how hard were the classes.

not sure where exactly you live, but if you’re in the portland area and don’t mind driving up to Scappoose, you could try Darryl’s Lock & Key. He’s very well respected up here and has been in the business for as long as i can remember.
