Locked myself out of my bedroom – how can I get back in?

How about using a ladder outside and climb in through a unlocked window?
Sounds like you may have to use a large screwdriver on the door jam — this would damage the door pretty badly.
You could always break one of the windows out and climb inside — or perhaps even take the window pane out with-out breaking the glass — then reinstall it later. This is a lot cheaper than replacing the door.
Can you consult with a neighbor / friend ?
Perhaps — ??? — You might give your local fire dept. guys a call and explain your situation.

Use a sawzall to cut off the doorknob. then you will be able to open the tounge that holds the door shut. You will simply have to replace the knob unit.
a strip of vertical molding can be removed thus you can access the latch, or better yet just get a hack saw and cut the door knob off, it’ll save tearing the woodwork up.
I like the saw off the doorknob idea. You can always have your pet monkey unlock the door for you!!

or kick the door in but dont break your leg – use the heal, not the ball – better still use a fireextinguisher.
Dont shoulder barge the door as you may do some serious damage to the ligaments in your shoulder – or chip the bone.
