Locksmith/Security System Technician?

Question by Phailure.:

I was talking to my friends a while ago and they all knew what they wanted to be when they got out of school, so I decided to get on and look at some Jobs.
This one crossed my mind.
So I wanted to know.
Does anyone know if you can be a Locksmith/Security System Technician with a GED?
Also.
What are some good sites I can go to, to read more about it?
To learn more about what they do and to see how much they make.

I’m sure it’s POSSIBLE. However, it may be difficult to actually find employment without a HS diploma. I wouldn’t want a high school drop out to install my security system.
