Lost key, severly dammaged ignition, no money locksmith or dealer?

The dodge Ram 2001 was stolen and found, now I need to get it out of the location it is in before it receives more dammage, my only option is to hotwire it !!! Help… need to know the details on how to do this……

break the steering column. it is really just the plastic peice “or metal” around it. use a screw driver to break off the ignition. then use screw driver to start it.
Remove upper and lower column covers 2-piece plastic that surrounds the steering column, then unbolt the ignition lock cylinder/ switch from its mount, torx head bolts you should now be able to start the truck using a screwdriver inserted into the slot that the switch turns, good luck!
perry gave you some good advice,without doing any further damage to it take the two pieces of plastic down on it and remove the switch,then you can start it with a screw driver,or any thing slotted, it to get it started ,this way you wont have a large amount of damage to repair,i don’t blame you id want it out of an impound yard also,they usually get damaged more there than they do from a theft,i got a recovery vehicle right now replacing glass and stuff in it,and its turning out to be a night mare,the thieves should have finished this one,good luck.
