This in turn removes all of the key pins and enables the locking cam to be accessed and turned with a screw driver. A locksmith will probably charge in excess of £60 to do this and then another £30-£40 for a new lock. Your local supplier will sell you a new lock for about £6. Using a 10mm hss drill carefully drill in the round section that the key turns in, until you reach the centre.
This in turn removes all of the key pins and enables the locking cam to be accessed and turned with a screw driver.
A locksmith will probably charge in excess of £60 to do this and then another £30-£40 for a new lock.

The bolt could be catching on the striker plate hole. So there may not be anything wrong with the lock. Your door or house could have shifted this winter causing this. If this is the case cut the hole in the striker plate bigger. If this is not the case and if the lock needs to be replace go with what JOHN H said.
