Take your registration w/ VIN to the dealer. You will have to provide proof of ownership and they will cut the key for you. A locksmith can’t do it …

only dealer will do it,keys for that model will cost you from $175 dollars to $300 dollars i get them for cheaper because my brother is the parts manager for a BMW dealer.

take vin number and title or registration with id to dealer. they can cut a key. if it is just a straight key with no chip or electronic interlock it will not be so bad. if it is, ouch.

you can either have a locksmith rekey it or take it to the dealer and they can put a new lock cylinder in or maybe able to rekey with v.i.n #
