You don’t need to pick the lock, just read the number on the lock itself and check with some of the other workers in the office and see if they have a key with a similar number. Either that or get a bunch of keys and try them in there. most desk locks only have 3 or 4 tumblers and aren’t the most secure in the world, unless of course you are in the military and have top secret junk in your drawer in which case, well….oops. If that doesn’t work, you could use your stapler and pry the drawer down and probably open it that way.
Don’t you have a spare key?
Ask the Office Assistant for one.
or use the crowbar, it’s better than losing your job.
If you do not want to pay for the service then your best bet is to smash open the desk and explain it to your boss. You could lose your job over that. But you could really lose it if you pick the lock yourself. The way they see it is “What’s to stop her from picking other locks?” How would you explain that? The best way to take care of this problem is to find the cheapest lock pickers and pay them to do it. Or FIND YOUR KEYS and KEEP them somewhere where you can always find them, like your purse.
