yes get another key made. He won’t have to redo your lock.
yes you can get a new key or one made as long as you keep them posted your not doing nothing wrong.. now if you break the lease you will have to pay to do that or you will have bad credit for a while..and if they have breaken the lease take pictures keep notes and take them to small claims court and you may get out of the lease that way..
