I never use mine, a half-competent thief will get past them in 10 seconds, but they (and helmet locks) do benefit from a squirt of WD40 every now and then.
You don’t say what model or year the bike is but if it’s a dyna or softail I really haven’t heard of that before unless someone has yanked on the bars to try and break the lock and steal the bike but I do know drilling it out is the only way to unlock it and all it takes is a cordless drill and guess what, someone else is got your bike. I would suggest not using the neck lock and spring for a good alarm. Problem is if they want it they’re going to get it no matter what kind of security you have. One other thing Harley’s neck lock and ignition are keyed alike so you’ll have to replace them both since they only sell them in pairs and you’ll need to give them the serial # in order to order the parts, not cheap either I think around a hundred or so, but isn’t that what HD stands for anyway, hundred dollars.
they are a joke, buy a good chain
I think they are just a add on trinket
Like the others are saying just get a chain
I acutally use a pair of handcuffs No self respecting theif would look twice at a fork lock anyway
