What can I do about this rat-like neighbor?

Learn the word no, now say it slowly, noooooooooooo, once you do it gets easier and easier….
call your landlord, after you are sure you have told them their noise laevel is bothersome…
you pay rent too right?…I think it’s a friggin riot them having sex makes your dog bark!!!! Some dogs alert to rodents or strangers , yours alerts to sex!!!!! goood puppy!!! LOL

Have you tried complaining to your landlord? Do that, and let him/her know that your life is being disrupted and something needs to be done about it… or else!

if they come knockin on your door again don’t answer, when you hear them doing the nasty turn your music up loud, and if they have their music up loud turn your louder, they may get the hint, but if not, call your landlord, they usually take care of the problem, does your city have a noise ordnance? if so call the cops they will make them turn it down. i had neighbors like that for a very short time, they had their music up so loud my daughters bassinet would vibrate across the floor, they were downstairs too, as soon as i told the landlord they were gone.

get a copy of the rules in agreement terms and pass it out to everyone once or twice a week .

what would you do if you werent renting an apartment, but instead lived in a house? If your neighbor was being loud you could not call the “manager”
I am an apartment manager. A lot of timesthere is not much i can do, especially when people dont want to do anything themselves. the first thing you should do about the noise is call the police. Tell them the situation before they get there, YOU NEED A POLICE REPORT, then give that to your manager if there is one for your apartments, or the owner or management company. ask them to give your neighbor a 3 day notice to “perform Copvenant or quit” check your lease, it will say something along the lines somewhere in the rules that tenenats must keep noise at an appropriate level. (having a police report would go against that.)
As far as them borrowing milk and getting buzzed in, ask them a favor today, something small, soon as they say “I’m busy right now” Loudly repeat that back to them, however they say it, then say I’ll remember those words from now on” Next time say it back to them”I’m busy right now”

RATS need to be trapped and dealt with. You know what you must do.

invite a guy friend to stay over for a week or so. Not together type thing, but as a friend. talk this over with him, explain to him you need a strong arm…even pay him 100.00 or so. The people you explan are violent, they have no boundaries. also perverts, they know you can hear this, think about rape, it’s never when you expect it. It’s always best to talk this over with a police woman…maybe someone from the women’s shelter, they have lots of good resources, while you are also explaining the to the person you rent from. Tell him or her you don not feel safe. doesn’t sound like you are to me. also put in an alarm system, it’s just the smart thing to do. and stop talking to these people, always carry an umbrella, so you can use it as a weapon. And take some self defense classes, so you’ll feel better about your self assertiveness…..good luck

I don’t think it’s “Very Nice Indeed” to call them “rat-like” or “pigs”.

You’ve allowed the behavior to continue by engaging them. It’s up to you to stop the behavior.

With regards to the noise – you have a right to quiet enjoyment – call the police (if you own your unit) or file a complaint with the landlord or association of the building (if you rent).

Just say “no” to their myriad requests. They’ll get the mesage!

Say the same thing they say to you. I am a little busy right now. Find out the niose laws and the rules of your lease and leave the radio on. When they ask remind them of what you would like. You know when you were playing that music the other day my dog was trying to sleep, But if you keep yours down then I will too. Next time they have thiers up turn yours on when leaving. If peopl will nor listen you have to politely as possible show them how things feel and stay within the rules.

Keep telling them you’re busy right now when they appear at the door for any reason. That should job their memory eventually and they will stop bothering you. As far as the sex goes either complain the the manger cause it’s really HIS problem or tape the entire thing and play it back for them or leave the tape neat the door anonymously where they will find it.

Tell your Landlord, Also don’t answer your door, If you ignore them, they will go away, but this will take time and patience.

My suggestion….talk to the landlord or superindentant….also talk to you other neighbors they may be doing the same thing to them.

Stop being nice to them. Try to ignore them as much as you can.
When they come to your door, ignore them. Change your telephone number.
Tell them politely they are bothering you. When they ask you for favor tell them you can’t help them. By ignoring them hopefully and eventually they’ll get the message.
Write them a letter to warn them you are going to take legal actions against them if they do not improve or stop their annoying behavior.

I would do this…everytime i would go out at night I would leave..leaving my radio up!! with unbearable music..
Everytime they ask a favor say very sarcastically..OHHH I am sooo busy watching TV” and slap the door on their faces!!
Can you throw stuff over your balcony to theirs?? I would throw cigarrettes and dirt…..I know its mean but they dont respe ct you….when they confront you,you explain,they want to changeYOU CHANGE!!
