what does it take to become a professional safe and vault technician?

a professional safe and vault technician, meaning safe cracker.
what kind of degrees do i need? criminal justice? =/ or what kind of experience do i need? (working for a locksmith or something? or thats not what i need?)

basically, i kinda want to be a safe cracker that cracks safe for the police–doing police work. does anyone know how much they make?

i got this idea when watching the italian job. haha. well i’m just curious that’s all =)

well you could major in criminal justice and get a job working for a police department first, then ask how you can get the job you want from there.
