What is the algorithm for unlocking number locks?

I need help I got locked out of my car and lost my keys and I don’t want to call a locksmith yet. all I have is this number lock which I cant remember the pass. help?

what are the variables? 5 selection with 10 options, we need more data!

a simple algorithm would be x^y, so with a combination padlock with 40 numbers that needs to be turned three time you have:

40^3

the pick four on the lottery would be:

10^4
