What would be the best way to pick a lock?

i doubt a bedroom lock is that hard to pick… google it!

use a screw driver to unscrew the door nob.

This happened to me on my house’s front door. I called a locksmith and he walked in with a huge toolbox full of crap. Took one look at it, opened his wallet, pulled out a credit card and opened it right up. Just don’t use a card that you really need in case it cracks or gets bent up.

Call in a locksmith, or break a window.

Most bedrooms have what is called a Privacy Lock. These usually have a small hole in the middle of the knob. If you push a toothpick or small awl in, it should pop the lock open. Some of these locks require a jewelers screwdriver in the hole and turn.
If this is a lock requiring a key, you will probably need the locksmith, unless you want to try the credit card trick!!!.
