Where do you find a cheap lock that I dont have to fix lock on door?
Question by cholocatesista_1981:
My parents keep coming in my room, and I dont like for them to keep coming in my room so I need a lock that keep them away but simply I am a girl that aint a LockSmith so I only need a cheap lock that is at less $30.00 and I wouldn’t know how to fix lock on my door if you rather deadbolt or something that are two knobs that required more work, GEEZ! all I wanna is a simply easy lock that I can just put on or with magnetic or deadbolt that has an easy magentic…Or you can suggest chainguard only if it has simply easy way for me to put on without all screws and nails! I am lousy in measures!

Chain guards are the simplest to install
What makes you think that your parents will let you keep a lock on your door? It will make them more suspicious of you.
A chainguard or sliding bolt (both of which are cheap and come with templates that you stick up on the door and dorrjamb and scrow the screws in where it shows you to – ne measuring required. The problem is you have to be inside the room to use them.
If there is a lock that is a fairly new kind (round, with a keyhole at top or bottom of the cylinder), you can buy just the cylinder with new keys. They come with instructions for ordinary people who know how to read.
I suggest you just hide what they are looking for.
That depends if you want to keep them out when your in there, or keep them out wile your not there there are many differnt lock you can get a chep bathroom lock that can replace your door nob and the key is like a flat head screwdriver, It is not the best if you want Privicy but it is a suggestion!
